In FY 2023, Accompany Capital continued to invest in New York City’s immigrant, refugee, and underserved entrepreneurs through affordable financing, business counseling, and targeted programs that helped businesses grow, create jobs, and build stronger communities.  

 

  • We deployed 211 loans totaling $9.25 million to small businesses across New York City, bringing our portfolio to 523 active borrowers.  
  • Our financing helped create 189 full-time jobs and 80 part-time jobs, while retaining 1,107 existing positions in local communities.  
  • We provided 5,527 hours of counseling to 629 clients and delivered 44 workshops reaching 2,172 attendees, helping entrepreneurs strengthen their businesses and financial skills.  
  • We launched a new Individual Development Account (IDA) Program for Afghan Evacuees, enrolling 36 families and committing to support 99 families over three years with financial education and rental assistance. 
  • As the first CDFI to participate in New York City’s Taxi Medallion Owner Relief Program, we approved 21 loans totaling more than $2.5 million, helping drivers reduce crushing debt burdens and achieve greater financial stability.
