Accompany Capital Annual Report 2022
In FY 2022, Accompany Capital helped New York City’s immigrant, refugee, and underserved entrepreneurs recover, rebuild, and grow following the pandemic by providing affordable financing, business counseling, and targeted programs that strengthened small businesses across the five boroughs.
- We deployed 204 new loans totaling $5,994,413 to small businesses, supporting a portfolio of 563 active borrowers citywide.
- Our financing helped create 95 full-time jobs and 46 part-time jobs, while retaining 831 existing positions in New York City’s communities.
- We provided 5,655 counseling hours to 674 clients and delivered 46 workshops reaching 756 attendees, helping entrepreneurs strengthen their operations and financial skills.
- We expanded opportunities for business growth through our SBA Community Advantage Loan Program, deploying 9 loans totaling $3.36 million to help established businesses access larger-scale financing.
- Through our Women’s Entrepreneurship Program, we launched Accompany Capital’s first startup accelerator for women entrepreneurs and supported specialized training, mentorship, and survey research to better understand and address the needs of women-owned businesses.
