Help for Small Businesses Affected by Hurricane Sandy
We spent last week and yesterday calling our clients to get updates on how they have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. So far, we know that several of our clients’ businesses have been devastated. We are helping them to apply for assistance from FEMA (contact them at 1-800-621-3362 or via www.disaster assistance.gov) as well as for loans of $5,000- $25,000 for cleanup and recovery from New York Business Development Corporation (NYBDC). BCNA will also be providing emergency cash flow loans of up to $5,000 to our clients who have been affected.
While many of our clients are bracing themselves for a devastating loss of income, they — and we – are all grateful that they, and their families, are safe.
