I was extremely honored recently to be one of this year’s recipients of the "American Dreamer Award" for Business Leadership. The Awards were presented by Mayor Michael Bloomberg, in a ceremony at Gracie Mansion that also signaled the beginning of Immigrant Heritage Week.
"New York has always been a destination for people from all over the world who are willing to work hard and make a better life for themselves," Mayor Bloomberg said to a packed room that truly represented the spirit, the brilliance, and the energy of new Americans who have come to New York to work hard to make their dreams, goals, and vision a reality.
Congratulations to all of this year’s winners, and to all my BCNA colleagues, for helping so many achieve the American Dream.
