Take Off Now Business Pitch Competition

Could your business use an extra $10,000?

We’re offering that – and more – to two women-owned businesses in NYC!

Has your New York City business pivoted in the past year as a result of the pandemic and lockdown?

Did you spot an emerging opportunity and start a brand new business?

If your company is one of the businesses that innovated, seized new opportunities, and is emerging stronger as a result, you may be eligible for up to $10,000 in prizes in the Accompany Capital “Take Off Now” pitch competition. Existing businesses and startups will be recognized separately.

And if you just want to attend and learn about – and from – our inspirational finalists, click here to register.

How to enter

Register here to enter or to attend. Then submit a simple 4-page application by January 17 that describes what you did and how that played out for your business. A panel of judges will select 10 semi-finalists from two categories: 5 existing businesses and 5 start-ups. Those 10 semi-finalists will then be asked to submit 3-minute video pitches, which will be seen by the judges – during a virtual “Take Off Now” event on February 24.

How winners will be chosen

Winners will be chosen based on the quality of their business plans and video pitches. The top prize winners in each of the two categories will receive $10,000, the two runners-up will receive $2,500, and six finalists will be awarded $1,000 each. The viewing audience will also get to vote for their favorite pitch, and that People Choice award winner will receive an additional $1,000.
